About Danny
After a career spanning 20 years in police custody, Danny brings a unique perspective to his role as a Driving Instructor in Poole. His calm demeanor, sense of humor, and dedication to helping others make him the ideal person to guide learners through the journey to becoming safe, confident drivers. Danny’s approach is all about making the process enjoyable while focusing on the skills that matter most.
Danny believes driving lessons should be tailored to the individual, allowing each learner to progress at a pace that suits them. He prides himself on creating a positive, relaxed atmosphere where laughter is encouraged, and confidence can grow naturally.
Away from the car, Danny loves spending time with his wife, Michelle. Together, they enjoy heading to the beach or taking trips in their campervan to explore new places. A big football fan, Danny also keeps active playing padel and badminton. As a local to Poole, he’s passionate about his community and helping others navigate the roads with skill and confidence.

Chris Brown
About Chris
Following a 16 year career in the police as Police Officer and then a Sergeant, Chris made a decision to change career and become a driving instructor. Chris was a fully trained Police Driver and has driven all manner of vehicles to the 'system of car control' outlined in the Roadcraft manual. His previous experiences provides Chris with a unique understanding of road safety and driving skill that have assisted in his transition to becoming a driving instructor.
Chris offers driving lessons in Ferndown, Wimborne and Christchurch areas of Dorset. Chris has a passion for driving. He uses this passion and experience to help learners acquire the skills to drive well and safely beyond their test. Chris is a firm believer that individuals learn best when they enjoy the process and that is at the heart of every lesson.
Chris’s main focus during his driving lessons is to develop safe and confident drivers. Through his work and life experiences, Chris is well aware of the risks involved in driving and understands that a highly disproportionate number of newly qualified drivers are involved in accidents. Therefore, his teaching methods are geared towards his pupils being equipped with the skills required to drive their cars safely during the coming years.
Chris has a great manner about him and creates a fun and supportive environment. He encourages his pupils to talk about any worries or concerns and assists the pupils in finding a solution or strategy to overcome the problem.
Chris is a family man, living in Ferndown with his wife and 2 children. Chris is a keen golfer and an avid Tottenham fan (you can’t hold that against him), he is happy to talk about the ups and downs of both these passions.
When starting the journey of driving lessons with Chris there are certain things he promises, you will learn a lot, you will enjoy the journey (pun intended), you will laugh, and we will talk – as silence in the car with Chris is not an option. At the end of it, you will have the knowledge and skills to be a safe, considerate and competent driver, ready to take on the challenges the modern-day driver has to face.
